Incoloy 825 Austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy
Incoloy 825 Features and Applications Overview:
The alloy is a versatile engineering alloy with acid and alkali corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. High nickel content provides the alloy with effective resistance to SCC. Corrosion resistance in all media is good, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and organic acids, alkali metals such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid solutions. The comprehensive performance of the alloy in a corrosive media, a variety of nuclear combustion dissolver, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid and sodium hydroxide are handled in the same equipment. Used in a variety of industrial use temperature does not exceed 550 ℃, such as: sulfuric acid pickling factory with heating pipes, containers, baskets and chains, etc., sea water cooling heat exchanger, marine product pipeline system, acid gas pipeline environment, phosphoric acid production In the heat exchanger, evaporator, washing, dipping pipes, oil heat exchanger in air purification, food engineering, chemical processes, high pressure oxygen applications such as flame retardant alloys.

Incoloy 825 Metallography structure:
Alloy has a stable face-centered cubic structure. Chemical composition and proper heat treatment ensure that the corrosion resistance is not impaired by the sensitization.
Incoloy 825 Process performance and requirements:
1, the alloy heating environment contains sulfur, phosphorus, lead or other low melting point metal, Nicrofer 6023 / 6023H alloy will become brittle. Impurities come from marking paints, chalk, lubricants, water, fuel and more. Fuel sulfur content is low, such as liquefied gas and natural gas impurities less than 0.1%, urban gas sulfur content of less than 0.25g / m3, the sulfur content of LPG is less than 0.5% is ideal.
2, suitable temperature of the alloy is 1150-900 ℃, the cooling method can be water quenching or rapid air cooling.
3, the use of tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, hand sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, melting inert gas shielded welding, pulse arc welding is the preferred program.
