Nimonic90 Aging-enhanced nickel-based superalloys
Nimonic90Features and Applications Overview:
The alloy is aging strengthened nickel-based high-temperature deformation of the alloy, containing a higher amount of cobalt and a variety of strengthening elements, the alloy at 815 ~ 870 ℃ high tensile strength and creep resistance, good oxidation resistance and resistance Corrosion, repeated alternating hot and cold have a higher fatigue strength and good formability and weldability. For turbine engine turbine disk, blades, high temperature fasteners, clamps, seals and flexible components.

Nimonic90 Metallographic structure:
The main strengthening phase of this alloy is γ'-Ni3 (Ti, Al), which is precipitated by square grains of different sizes in the grain. The γ 'phase of this shape can also be seen on the grain boundaries. On the chain was not continuous precipitation.
Nimonic90 Process performance and requirements:
1, the alloy is easy to produce in the forging when cracking, hammer to allow heavy, low temperature chamfering is not allowed. Steel ingot furnace temperature is not higher than 700 ℃, the final heating temperature 1150 ℃ ± 10 ℃, open forging temperature of not less than 1060 ℃, final forging temperature of not less than 950 ℃.
2, the average grain size of the alloy and forging deformation degree, the final forging temperature is closely related.
3, the alloy in solid solution can be inert gas tungsten arc welding and flash butt welding.
