Incoloy 926 characteristic:
1. It has a high resistance to crevice corrosion and can contain acid medium.
2. In practice it has been proven that effective chloride stress corrosion cracking.
3. All kinds of corrosion environment have good corrosion resistance.
4. Mechanical properties than Alloy 904 L good.
Corrosion resistance:
926 is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with a similar 904L alloy with a nitrogen content of 0.2% and a molybdenum content of 6.5%. Molybdenum and nitrogen content greatly increased the crevice corrosion resistance. At the same time, nickel and nitrogen not only improve the stability, but also reduce the tendency to separate the nickel-based alloy from the heat-out process or the welding process over the nitrogen content. 926 has a certain degree of corrosion resistance in chloride ions due to local corrosion properties and 25% nickel alloy content. Limestone desulphurization slurry with various experiments operating at a chlorine concentration of 10000-70000 ppm, pH 5-6 and operating temperature of 50-68 ° C shows that 926 alloy has no crevice corrosion and pitting during the 1-2 years trial period. In 926 other media also have good corrosion resistance in high temperature, high concentration media, including sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acid gases, seawater, salt and organic acids. In addition, in order to obtain the best corrosion resistance, to ensure regular cleaning.
