Hastelloy X (UNS NO6002)
Hastelloy X Features and Applications Overview:
The alloy is a nickel-based superalloy with a relatively high iron content which is mainly solid-solution strengthened with chromium and molybdenum and has good oxidation and corrosion resistance. The alloy has moderate to long lasting and creep strength below 900 ° C, Hot workability and weldability are good. Suitable for the manufacture of aeroengine combustion chamber components and other high temperature components, long-term use below 900 ℃, short-term operating temperature of 1080 ℃.

Hastelloy X Metallography Organization:
The alloy in the solution state of the organization of austenitic matrix, there are a small amount of TiN and M6C carbide.
Hastelloy X process performance and requirements:
1, the alloy has good cold and hot processing performance, forging heating temperature 1170 ℃.
2, the average grain size of the alloy and forging deformation degree, the final forging temperature is closely related.
3, the alloy has a satisfactory welding performance, available welding, seam welding, spot welding and other methods of welding.
4, the alloy can be directly added to the furnace has been warmed to the highest operating temperature. Immediately after the necessary time in the heat baked, processed to the specified specifications. If the metal temperature below the minimum processing temperature need to re-heat.
5, the surface of the alloy oxide and welding slag around the weld adhesion stronger than stainless steel, it is recommended to use fine crystal belt or fine grinding wheel for grinding.
